The Winds of Change

The old adage is that Spring is the season of change, a period of change and renewal. This little truism is especially applicable to my life of late. In the next few weeks, my job situation and living arrangements may likely change.

After 3 years at the tranquil 'Palm Cove' apartment in South Fargo, the roommates and I are going out separate ways. Elliott is moving in with his grandmother in West Fargo until he can secure employment, and Bobby is hoping to find an efficiency in North Fargo. For my part, I am moving downtown into a nice little loft. I am very excited to move into a vibrant new setting. I will be a block away from Broadway and the Fargo Theatre, as well as in close proximity to several cool restaurants, bars, and unique little shops. Living amidst such a busy atmosphere will be ideal, as I'll be living alone for the first time in years, and I always need some kind of social interaction within walking distance. I'll miss parts of Palm Cove, but I am definitely ready for a change of scenery.

I also have a few interviews ahead of me this week, both representing different career paths. It feels like one of those critical forks in the road for me. I can't go into detail here, for obvious reasons, but this week will require careful consideration and deliberation. Regardless, new challenges lie ahead!

And that is always a good thing.
